What is Montessori-inspired learning?

Montessori-inspired learning draws on the ideas of Dr. Maria Montessori: children learn best through hands-on, purposeful activity in a carefully prepared environment, with the freedom to choose their work and the time to concentrate. Adults guide and observe rather than lecture. At Tiny Trellis we use these principles as our foundation. Read about our philosophy.

Which ages do you serve?

We are planning programs for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. Confirmed age ranges: age ranges to be confirmed once licensing is complete. See Programs for details.

What does a typical day look like?

Days follow a calm, predictable rhythm: a warm welcome, a long stretch of independent work and exploration, practical life and sensory activities, time outdoors, shared meals, and stories and rest. See an example day. Actual times to be confirmed.

How do you support independence?

Children use real, child-sized tools and are shown how to care for themselves, each other and their space — pouring their own water, putting on shoes, tidying materials, watering plants. Adults offer just enough help, then step back so children can say, “I did it myself.”

What programs and schedules are offered?

We are developing Seedlings, Sprouts and Saplings programs. Schedule options, hours and availability: to be confirmed. View programs.

How can families arrange a visit?

Use our visit request form and we'll reply to arrange a time. Visits are the best way to see the environment and decide whether Tiny Trellis feels right for your family.

What are the enrollment steps?

Enrollment steps to be confirmed — for example: request a visit, tour and meet the team, submit an application, receive an offer, complete enrollment paperwork, and plan a gentle start.

Come see where little things become big discoveries.

Meet our team, explore the learning environment, and discover whether Tiny Trellis feels right for your family.
